A Senior NetSuite Consultant is vital in transforming our clients’ businesses by delivering services and advice based on proven experience in implementing ERP solutions. Our consultants are part of a team that performs all software consulting life cycle phases, including requirements gathering, process/system analysis, implementation, ongoing support, and technical request execution.

The Consultant in this role is experienced in finance, accounting, revenue recognition, general ledger, operations, subscription product/service offering models, and business systems. This role requires an expert understanding of subscription billing and related revenue recognition methodologies, covering scenarios from software sales to professional services and maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide industry-leading and expert-level consulting to clients, including, but not limited to, Accounting, Finance, Billing/AR, Revenue Management, and Contract/Subscription Management. 
  • Collaborate and lead team members in standard methodologies, including preparing, approving, and completing document templates that contain business flow diagrams, business requirements documentation, GAP analysis, and training material to best inform clients of the solution’s capabilities and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with our clients to understand their unique business needs, design tailored solutions, and provide expert guidance on leveraging NetSuite’s financial capabilities.
  • Implement and configure Revenue Recognition features within NetSuite, aligning with industry standards and client needs
  • Advise clients on Revenue Recognition methods, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop custom Revenue Recognition schedules and templates to automate the revenue recognition process.
  • Utilize in-depth NetSuite’s Financial Module knowledge to address clients’ complex financial challenges.
  • Configure and customize NetSuite Financial Module components to streamline financial operations, reporting, and analysis.
  • Work with Sales / Client Engagement to assess issues and recommend solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Interact with Project Management directly and through a project management tool to lead in the definition and execution of the project plan within a specified timeframe and budget; also record time daily so we ensure client budgets are protected.
  • Work closely with 360’s developers and system architects to define and build custom solutions that propel our client’s business forward. The consultant will assist in developing a vision, sales statements of work, client process documentation, and custom training materials.
  • Use and/or adapt to a comprehensive set of tools, including NetSuite, Zoom, Office 365, ClickUp, Slack, etc.
  • Continue to develop your platform skills and consulting expertise.

Qualifications

  • You have two or more years of experience as a NetSuite consultant with a proven track record in leading successful NetSuite implementations.
  • You have served as a project lead or solo consultant, have implemented Advanced Revenue Management four or more times, or have implemented fair value allocation.
  • You have implemented, customized, or provided troubleshooting for SuiteBilling, Zone Advanced Billing, or any other built-for-NetSuite recurring billing solution. 
  • You are a subject matter expert on Advanced Revenue Management and/or Order-to-Cash and have designed workflows or scripts to customize Order-to-Cash behavior.
  • NetSuite Certifications Preferred: SuiteFoundations, Administrator, ERP Consultant, Advanced Revenue Management, Multi-Book Enablement a plus.
  • Deep understanding of NetSuite ERP applied to SaaS / recurring revenue businesses.
  • Experience working and collaborating with both C-Suite and executive-level and mid-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to estimate, build, and execute the project plan and guide team members.
  • Ability to form the solution and translate to configuration requirements; to lead a business process session
  • Strong Client Service Orientation.
