For over 25 years, Camp Chef has manufactured and supplied outdoor cooks with pellet grills and cooking systems. As they distribute to major retail chains, they sought to strengthen their B2C eCommerce and found its SAP Business One software inventory management could not serve both B2B and B2C channels, nor offer the agility to efficiently enable drop-ship for online marketplaces and retailers. Slowed down by costly upgrades and maintenance, Camp Chef recognized the benefits of cloud but had reservations around customization.

Realizing they needed to get more efficient, they decided to evaluate options. They went live with NetSuite in January 2016 to manage 1,500 shipments a day across B2B and B2C channels. With SAP, some customizations took days as compared to minutes with NetSuite.
B2C Sales Skyrocket
Halfway through 2017, Camp Chef has already exceeded its 2016 B2C sales. With real-time, unified inventory and order data, they can see top-selling SKUs, as well as pinpoint what sales channels those orders are coming through, and adjust resources for superior customer service. Before 360 Cloud Solutions became involved Camp Chef spent half of every day preparing orders to be picked, packed, and shipped. Because of the implementation 360 Cloud Solutions completed, Camp Chef was able to reduce production to a reasonable amount to allow for more time to ship a higher number of orders in a more organized manner.
